Mark Barnett - Lead Coach, BP Group
Mark is a senior change leader with a focus on delivering integrated, end-to-end change to all elements of the business engine: strategy, people, process and technology. During his 25-plus year career, Mark has worked in numerous industries, including high-tech manufacturing, telecommunications, insurance and financial services. For the past 12 years he has effectively leveraged his strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with his solid software development and IT experience, earned in his prior career as an aerospace engineer, to solve the challenges faced by organizations needing to quickly adjust their strategies, processes, tools and techniques to address rapidly changing customer needs and economic conditions, and to adapt to the ever-accelerating rate of technological change.
He has built and matured two Program Management Offices and two Process Excellence disciplines during his career, and has introduced numerous innovations in those disciplines, and in the supporting tools, training, and governance techniques. Mark has held leadership roles in large corporate transformations, including the development and deployment of target-state end-to-end processes resulting from the acquisition of one financial services industry leader by another. In addition, he has been a thought leader in the application of business process simulation to identify innovative yet pragmatic, low-cost solutions to challenges faced in high-transaction-rate operations environments.
Mark is a licensed instructor and coach in CEMMethod (Customer Expectation Management Method).
